As part of the leadership team of The Root Cause Coalition, I assisted in the creation and implementation of our strategic plan, recruitment of coalition members, and am responsible for the day-to-day management of our growing non-profit. Our healthcare-led efforts to address the broad social determinants, with a specific focus on hunger as a health issue, allow me to utilize my diverse experiences to engage a wide-array of partners, enhance proven industry-led programs, and develop new strategies to address the many social determinants that our members combat in communities across the nation.

At SHC I am responsible for all aspects of congressional relations and policy for a wide variety of health sector clients. I work with a team of professionals to counsel clients on the development and advancement of policy and business solutions to navigate federal agency implementation of the Affordable Care Act and continual policy changes in Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, Social Security, and other federal programs. I also work closely with congressional staff to develop and advance legislative solutions to improve access and efficiency of care. In an increasingly polarized political environment, I have led my clients to success in a broad array of legislative and regulatory achievements.
