This is change is in recognition of an in-band promotion and a change in focus to primarily Model-Based Enterprise projects, while still maintaining some additional responsibilities in the regulated collaboration space. This role will drive continuing partnerships with GE Aerospace Engineering, Defense & Systems, US Government agencies, other Defense Industrial Base companies, and tool vendors to build and mature an integrated digital engineering ecosystem.

With 30,000 visitors annually the Global Research Center in Niskayuna is the innovation hub for GE. My role is diverse, but focused in the Conference Center supporting 10-12 large symposia annually, quarterly CEO reviews with each of the GE Businesses, and countless State and Multinational corporation visits. All of the events I support are in direct support of Senior Executive band and above, with many involving VP and C-level executives. The symposia have become increasingly virtual due to travel restrictions, which have made success of the events dependent on our ability to engage remote audiences through technology. The team utilizes recording, streaming, Cisco telepresence, Skype for business, Sli.do, and custom-built apps to create an experience as close to live as possible for 300-1000 participants across GE. My role in these events is the technical lead and execution specialist, which involves technical planning, resource allocation, setup, and day-of execution as director, multi-robocam operator, and audio mix engineer. GRC has been going through a transformation through 2017 and into 2018 which has involved refreshing many of the collaboration spaces. An increasing portion of my time has been spent discussing with the customer how they would be using the space and recommending the right technology for installation. Typically, I will either work directly with the project manager to order the necessary gear or work with an integrator to put together cost-effective quote.

I create videos that are end user focused in collaboration with education and marketing stakeholders. I bring an audio expertise to the product set, professional level audio dsp plugins, as well as experience in user education.
