Equipment Engineer on the Transmission and Substation Standards and Equipment team. Responsible for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Condition Monitors, Instrument Transformers, Station Service Transformers, and Substation Arresters. -Lead vendor management activities for 8+ drone Vendors and their 80+ inspection crews-Built and managed an integrated master schedule to enable 200k+ field inspections to be performed annually in a six-month window-Developed automated notifications to internal and external stakeholders by linking master schedule with Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping of territory and assets-Planned, designed, and managed $25M of inspection contracts in 2022-Engaged with procurement and vendors to develop alternative scope assignment plans, leading to the opportunity for $3M+ in cost savings-Collaborated with program staff to develop a comprehensive statement of work to enable commercial bids and evaluations of 40+ potential drone vendors for 2023 contracts

Developed a model to explore the capabilities of MELCOR (a computer code used to model accidents in nuclear power plants) for use in severe accident analyses.Utilized ANSYS Mechanical and SolidWorks to reduce an overly complex model of a diesel generator from 25,000 to 7,000 bodies, and prepared the model for use in a transient structural analysis.Prepared summaries detailing the various reactor core protection systems currently used in the nuclear fleet, to assist a client in determining which systems to include in a new reactor design.Performed extensive research on trends and notable events involving low pressure turbine blades across many industries. Analyzed these findings and prepared clear summary graphics for easy inclusion into a report.Worked with multiple engineers to understand and confirm the robustness of a reactor coolant pump CFD model.Developed isometric drawings of an extraction steam piping system, to be used in plant walkdowns. Coordinated the efforts of different team members' roles to see the project through to completion.

Worked closely with operators, engineers, and technicians to improve a variety of manufacturing processes, and implemented a new tool to improve operator safety.Identified a potential process improvement, then designed and ran an experiment. The process change was implemented for an $81,000/year cost savings. Designed and tested a measuring tool that doubled the discrimination ratio of a test procedure.Designed, scheduled, and performed a Gage R&R study with 2 technicians, then identified and enacted a procedural change that improved the measurement system's disposition reliability by 34%, and its ability to asses process performance by 22%.Reduced extraneous non-conforming material (NCM) reports from 111 in a 6 month period to 0 in the following 2 months.Converted a LotusNotes approval board into a new Excel Online format.Gathered hard data on a quirk of a testing procedure, and qualified a conditioning time.
