As a Senior Operations Associate, I began my focus on people leadership. I assumed the role of Team Lead for a group of 5-7 people, focusing them on core metrics that helped provide fantastic and comprehensive experiences for our users. I became responsible for the new hire experience, spending 3+ weeks carefully onboarding our newest Associates while adding greater standardization and efficiency to the process.

In my first position at Zocdoc, I was responsible for delivering world-class customer service to both our providers and our patients. My goal was to make sure every person with whom I spoke left our interactions feeling happy and engaged with our product. Additionally, I was responsible for making sure every single provider joining Zocdoc was properly credentialed and qualified to appear on our site, while meeting/exceeding aggressive metrics. I developed a training course to teach these skills and techniques to other Associates as well, and held them to the same high standards I set for myself.

The BMF offers financial assistance and free support services to bone marrow/stem cell transplant patients and their families. I was responsible for evaluating the applications for financial assistance and allocating funds to those in need. I also managed accounts payable/receivable, maintained an extensive database of patients/donors, and worked directly with patients and their families to set up their own tax-deductible fundraising campaigns (One-to-One Funds) through our website.

At HSS, I was responsible for the credentialing/biennial re-credentialing of over 400 members of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Medical Staff to the HSS Medical Staff, according to stringent regulations established by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and New York State. I became a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) in 2006. As a fun side activity, I co-chaired the hospital's Employee Activities Committee and ran their annual Talent Show for eight years.

A professional (now "recovering") actor for many years, I had the honor of working with this phenomenal company that gives a home for playwrights and artists to develop their work. I appeared in countless readings and eight fully-realized productions including the lead role in Kevin Brofsky's CLAYMONT, which had its Off-Broadway premiere in 2008.
