The network when I arrived consisted of about 15 computers, a commercial wireless router, a few low cost switches, and unpredictable backup of one machine to floppy disk. Below is a list of changes and upgrades I both designed and implemented.I. Implementation of a Windows Domain Controlled Network with individual user accounts, managed servers (4) for all business activities, full system rotating backups, domain managed anti-virus, and properly managed firewall with VPN access for key employees. I managed the design, budgeting, and implementation of this entire system.II. I planned all phases and logistics of the opening of a 4th division at SC Data – Paper Records Storage. This process involved:• Negotiation and upfit of a 30,000 sqft warehouse• Management of employees• Negotiation and implementation of a local network at this warehouse with an MPLS Gold connection back to our main office (with all traffic routed through the existing firewalled system). • Implementation and definition of a warehouse inventory management system to track location and storage billing in real time. This included an external customer facing transaction request system used by over 100 customer users.
