My professional journey has been marked by delivering complex, high-value builds across diverse companies, finding creative ways to meet tight timelines, and building client relationships through trust and reliability. ⇒ CAREER OVERVIEW:My career in San Diego began at Biostruct as a Site Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent. From there, I progressed to managing complex facility projects at EQ Office's (CarrAmerica) Biotech Division, setting the stage for my journey to construction management and my passion for delivering exceptional results. My 22-year tenure at EQ Office shaped me into a skilled project leader. I spearheaded diverse, high-value construction projects, managed substantial budgets, and forged strong client relationships, laying the groundwork for my expertise in tenant customization and stakeholder management. Most recently, I had the privilege of leading my consulting firm, a temporary opportunity to help EQ Office finish out projects in their pipeline. Now, I am eager to bring this expertise and my commitment to making a meaningful difference to an office/industrial real estate firm that values innovative solutions and collaborative success. I'm looking forward to being part of a dynamic team where my contributions can directly impact the growth and operational excellence of the organization.⇒ WHAT MAKES ME STAND OUT:I am known for seamless project execution without sacrificing quality, combined with a genuine commitment to tenant satisfaction. I bring together operational excellence, a deep respect for those impacted by construction, and the ability to complete jobs quickly and without disruption. I motivate by earning respect. I foster a team environment where everyone feels valued and invested in moving our projects forward. ⇒ PERSONAL BACKGROUND:Growing up, construction was in my blood, as most of my family worked in the industry. From the age of 14, I spent my summers and breaks on job sites drywalling, plumbing, and working on cabinetry. Later, I worked at a kitchen installation company, where I had the chance to apply everything I had learned, integrating all the trades. I learned to see the bigger picture and coordinate the moving parts into a cohesive whole. That was when I knew my path was leading me to become a construction project manager. It was a natural progression, from those summers of hands-on work to overseeing entire projects.⇒ LET'S CONNECT:I’m happy to connect on LinkedIn, or email me at im1left@gmail.com.
