I am an enthusiastic, outgoing and driven individual with a creative mind and passion for all things design and the outdoors. I am the lead Designer for the Technical Portfolio of products at Vango - anything that goes on your back or in your backpack.As Product Design Manager at Vango, I have a strong and passionate history of working in the outdoor consumer goods industry, both as a designer and user. By following my own product development process, this involves conceptualisation, sampling, testing and final delivery of products, all the way to market. I aid in sourcing materials, new manufacturers, develop & maintaining cost models and manage the development process of my specific portfolio of backpacking and hiking products. I also deliver product specific range proposals that reflect market trends of customer/consumer needs.I am skilled in Product Design, SolidWorks, Interior Design & Adobe Creative Suite. I am a strong product management professional with a Bachelor's degree focused in Product Design & Innovation from Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management, University of Strathclyde.I also have my own food blog where I experiment and come up with new and exciting recipes, let’s call it food innovation!
