Jason Manning is an experienced leader in journalism and digital media -- teaching and practicing at Arizona State University. As Executive Director of Digital Media for Educational Outreach and Student Services he directs media, messaging, and content creation that serves all of ASU's students.Manning also serves as director of Student Media and adviser to ASU's award-winning student media outlets, The State Press and Blaze Radio.At ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, Manning teaches courses focused on digital technology, political communication, ethics, and immigration. He has co-led student reporting projects in Central and Southern Mexico; the Dominican Republic; Puerto Rico; Canada; Nicaragua; Peru; Costa Rica; and Panama.Manning is also an experienced trainer and presenter on digital media, media literacy, and election coverage. He has trained professional journalists in the United States and abroad -- in places as varied as Botswana, the Dominican Republic, and Pakistan.
