Specializing in technology, workflows, and agency operations with a focus on productivity, Jason worked with independent insurance agencies to help them reach their potential. He is an experienced trainer with extensive leadership experience from his time in the U.S. Navy. Jason is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a certified master presenter for the Applied Client Network and participated regularly in AUGIE (ACORD Users Group Information Exchange) and ACT (Agents Council for Technology).Jason implements workflows at agencies, and has guided several through complete technology transitions. He is experienced in Applied Epic, TAM, & DORIS; Vertafore AMS360 & Sagitta.Jason has been in the forefront in helping agencies ensure they are in compliance with personal information security laws and breach notification requirements (such as 201 CMR 17.00) by providing agency owners and managers a clear approach to addressing the requirements of the laws of Massachusetts and other states. He was a member of the MAIA (MA Association of Insurance Agents) Data Security Panel of Professionals in September 2009, at which he illustrated how to find and fix gaps in compliance while improving agency operations and marketing. Jason was also on the Data Security Panel at MAIA’s Big Event in October 2010 and wrote about the operational and business implications of the new Massachusetts law in an article for the (December 4, 2009 issue of) The Standard.Jason has presented the topic of information security and security breach requirements to numerous industry groups, including the NY Hudson Valley Users’ Group (ASCnet), the Connecticut Professional Insurance Agents (PIA), the Big I of Connecticut (IIAC) Young Agents. He was a member of the ACT Information Security working group and has guided more than 200 independent agencies in MA, CT, and NY through the implementation of a written security program to ensure compliance with the MA state regulation.
