As VP of Business Marketing I oversaw all B2B marketing responsibilities across Demand Media's media, content and social divisions. My team's focus was on the company's efforts to increase brand marketers adoption of Demand Media's top 20 owned and operated websites, and business partners adoption of our content and social media platforms.

As VP of Marketing and Products, I was responsible for Marketing, Product Management and Product Strategy for the Demand Media Business Solutions Group. I was responsible for all aspects of Demand Media's off network offerings in the U.S. and Europe, with a primary focus on our social solutions. My team interacted daily with prospects and customers to promote our social products, to understand overall market needs, and to define and create the next generation of product features.

As Director of Product Management, I was responsible for managing the entire Pluck product offering, inbound and outbound. This included defining the product direction and strategy. In this role I interacted on a daily basis with prospects and customers to understand their unique product needs and the overall needs of the market. Internally my team worked to guide the next generation of Pluck product features through Engineering and into the marketplace. I was the central point of communication and management for the Pluck release process and product lifecycle.

I joined CREDANT when it was an early stage VC company and helped to grow the company and product into a multi-million dollar Enterprise business. As Director of Product Management, I was responsible for defining and managing the complete life cycle for an enterprise mobile security product across multiple platforms (Palm, RIM, Symbian, Windows Mobile, and Windows) working in conjunction with VP of Product Delivery to lead a team of 50+ engineers and support staff. I also co-authored a number of patent pending encryption techniques used within our product.

I joined Entrust as a Senior Systems Engineer following the acquisition of a startup where I worked, enCommerce. During my tenure at Entrust I was the subject matter expert for our web based authentication product acquired from enCommerce. I was responsible for architecting and selling small to large scale security solutions for Fortune 1000 customers. I specialized in Internet security and public key infrastructure. During my tenure I achieved Entrust President’s Club for consistently exceeding my sales quota, generating over a million dollars in revenue.

As a consultant, I managed entry level developers in a team environment, gathering and analyzing functional requirements, designing system architectures and application frameworks, and utilizing methodologies and development tools to produce final client deliverables. I specialized in web application development using JavaScript, Java and relational databases.
