Jason Jay Stevens is the founding principal of Flutter & Wow Museum Projects, a design & build firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Jason has been central to the creation of hundreds of exhibits and events since the early 90s, an enthusiastic scholar, an avid maker, and ultimately an artist committed to helping making our world a better a place through creative experience design. At Flutter & Wow, Jason leads a team that designs and implements exhibits for museums, commercial venues and private collectors, including interactive technologies, experiential design, graphic design, consultation, experiments, research and planning. Clients include Science Gallery Detroit and Science Gallery Atlanta, Detroit Institute of Arts, Pennyroyal Area Museum, Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm, Great Lakes Children's Museum, Motown Museum, University of Michigan Museum of Natural History, San Antonio Museum of Art, and Valdez Museum in Alaska.Jason has taught exhibit design in the University of Michigan Museum Studies program, in addition to exhibit and environmental design at the Lawrence Technological University College of Architecture and Design. Jason is a published, award-winning author, in journals, websites and the recent edition of Beverly Serrell's seminal book, Exhibit Labels (2015).Jason is a former board member of the Washtenaw County Historical Society and a former board member of the National Association for Museum Exhibitions. He attended Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo (BA 1992).
