I have applied them throughout my career as I advocated for diversity, equality, and inclusion as I worked with diverse populations in cross-cultural environments.Capitalizing on 13+ years of progressive experience in career counseling, executive administration, and people management, I bring expertise in designing and facilitating inclusive college access programming and initiatives for the disadvantaged, minority group members, and students of color. I direct supportive teams as we work hand-in-hand to "raise a child."I have earned a reputation as professional, creative, and goal-driven amongst my colleagues and collaborators, who would attest to my passion for educating and enabling the youth population. By facilitating strategic programs, encouraging teamwork, and maximizing resources, I contribute to a growing population of capable youths who have the tools to succeed in life.I have designed, organized, and implemented successful programs that placed students in colleges throughout my career. Some of them are:• Student Leadership Academy as the GEAR UP Program Director in the spring of 2017 and 2019, leading the 10-week leadership enrichment programs for high school students.• University: The Experience as the GEAR UP Program Director in the summer of 2017 and 2018 as well as the spring of 2019, directing college summer enrichment programs for the high school students from CPS.• Freshman Connection at Dunbar Vocational Career Academy High School as the GEAR UP Program Director in 2012.My passion for ensuring that everyone is treated impartially propelled my career through the years.
