Created architecture, design and implementation for State-of-the-Art Distributed, Scalable Network and Operations Management System (OrcaVision) used to guarantee Quality of Service for Whaleback's Cloud Based VoIP phone service - this system monitors all customer sites in real-time and provides complete historical information using a custom time series database (technologies used: Java, Eclipse SWT, OSGI, RMI, Jini, JFreeChart, prefuse, JSON, XML, Hibernate, MySQL, Linux, SVN, Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Jetty, Apache, Apache Tomcat, server Virtualization) Created Software Architecture, Design and Implementation for core services used in entire product line (Orca OS) – all mission critical software runs over these core services 24x7 at all customer sites and in Network Operations (significant core services created: distributed managed objects, system scheduler, GUI Frameworks, network and system monitoring subsystems, network bootstrap processes, graphical network visualization, alarm and fault isolation subsystems, Asynchronous WEB GUI framework using GWT) Invented Redundant Array of Independent Links (RAIL) technology and implemented it in embedded Linux Router - used to achieve load-balancing, redundancy and fail-over in VoIP service offering (Embedded Linux) Designed and Implemented low cost, high performance (real-time updates), high capacity (>80 TB) Compute Node/Storage Node architecture with full server virtualization (VMWare, Xen, KVM, QEMU) Created architecture, design and implementation for Customer Billing – CDR Processing/Normalization, Number Classification, Call Classification, Per-call Rating, Tiered Rating, Per-Customer and Per-Site rating and billing plans Designed and Implemented IP Network and Network Security Architecture for Customer, Corporate and Network Operations (software and equipment used: OpenVPN, Cisco, Juniper, Netscreen, StealthWatch)
