This involves verifying and rectifying any discrepancies or errors in financial records.Assistance in Financial Control for Specific Entities: Supporting the Manager Financial Control in accounting and monthly general ledger closing activities for ING Australia Group. This includes managing financial aspects and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.Adherence to Financial Accounting Standards: Ensuring that the general ledger reflects adherence to relevant financial accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.Responsible for managing ING Australia Holdings monthly accounting activities, including categorise all financial transactions, reconcile accounts, analyse inter-company transactions, prepare elimination journals for consolidated financial statement and forecast monthly expenses to ensure adequate funds in bank account.Corporate Credit Card management: Administering Card access privileges, including access to premises, computer systems, etc. Ensuring employee access to the limit and proceed instant usage suspension if separate. Authorised Signatory monitoring: Managing approval process for various transactions or activities requiring signatures, including defining approval hierarchies and ensuring appropriate documentations in place. Liaison for Sarbanes Oxley Testing: Collaborating with business units to facilitate Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance testing, which involves ensuring internal controls are effective and in place.Financial Control Projects and Ad-hoc Requests: Participating in financial control-related projects and handling ad-hoc requests related to financial reporting and control.
