Serve as the conduit between Global Science & Technology (GST) functions and the Global Business Units (GBUs). Interact directly with GBU leaders and establish processes to plan, execute, and adjust activities as needed. Develop KPIs to monitor performance of key programs and provide a holistic view of resource utilization across the GBUs. Work with resource managers to anticipate, identify and evaluate alternative ways to flex capacity to meet GBU demand signals.Northern Illinois Campus Consolidation Project (Project Sponsor – CVP of CSA Management): ✳ Managing divestiture of two large corporate real estate assets, one 238-acre parcel of vacant land and a major building, worth about $20M. Project Watershed (Project Sponsor – SVP  CSTO): ✳ Managed project that transformed a shared service, centralized entity that was mapped between 800 people and remapped R&D to each of six global business units. Evolved into an efficient and effective organization to drive innovation and future top line growth, align with business initiatives and continue to deliver on the Baxter mission to save and sustain lives. Smart Process Initiative / New Product Development and Launch Processes (Project Sponsor – SVP  CSTO): ✳ Led initiative to improve the predictability and reliability of New Product Development (NPD) pipeline delivery against the company’s Long-Range Plan (LRP). Focused on three areas for improved future state: 1) simplifying the tools and processes to deliver new products; 2) building experience in launching new products through core teams (GBU, functions, regions & countries) 3) improving the ability to view and communicate pipeline to all vital stakeholders.

Provided business and technical leadership for projects within the PMO, leading project teams through the identification, justification, prioritization, initiation, development and implementation processes. Program Management Improvement Project (Project Sponsor – VP of PMO):✳ Managed implementation of process improvement initiatives for centralized PMO that elevated the average assessed maturity level of the organization based on Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3) in the following categories: Milestone Achievement, Core Team Leadership, Stakeholder Communication, Resource Management, Quarterly Forecasting, Project Prioritization, and Risk Based Life Cycle Management.Project Portfolio Management (PPM) System Refresh (Project Sponsor – VP of PMO): ✳ Managed the incremental upgrade of PPM systems (Microsoft Project Server 2013 & Sustaining Product Operations Tool version 3) and the deployment of third-party tools (HammerHead & Resource Portfolio Manager) within the enterprise environments. PPM system business administrator (post launch) and owner of the software lifecycle management roadmap.

Led the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.Baxter Acquisition of Gambro: ✳ Integration Management Office workstream lead for the harmonization of IT systems and business processes for centralized PMO.Third Party Finished Goods (TPFG) Project (Project Sponsor – VP of Operations): ✳ Managed corporate process improvement initiative to develop proprietary software system to track and monitor the qualification status of TPFG providers for global product owners in the Sustaining Products Organization.Multi-Franchise Portfolio Lead: ✳ Managed optimization activities for sustaining products initiatives across six GBUs and multiple product platforms.

Led key project teams through the initiation, implementation and development processes. Drove the development of tools and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency in the management of projects and systems.✳ Oversaw the development and deployment of project controls system to manage budget, schedule, scope, risk and performance; project team received Corporate Technical Award for Operations Improvement category.✳ Selected as core team leader to drive quarterly forecast and fiscal year budgeting activities for the Renal SPO portfolio.

Provided operations support to the Metrology function by participating in process improvement initiatives and system refinements. Interacted with project core and extended teams to ensure key deliverables and business milestones were met. Point of contact for internal & external business partners for scheduling equipment calibrations, validations and qualifications. ✳ Managed the Metrology external vendor calibration program with 5K services/yr (25% of overall calibration related activities).✳ Qualified new supplier of volumetric infusion device services and negotiated contract which reduced costs by 15% and turnaround time by 50%.✳ Led the validation of Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software system (BlueMountain RAM) and team received Corporate Technical Award for Enterprise category.✳ Project Optimize workstream lead to determine the logistical support needed to build a new manufacturing facility in China.✳ Launched SharePoint site for Baxter’s participation with the International Consortium for Innovation and Quality in Pharmaceutical Development.
