CurrentDeveloped an innovative musical neurofeedback software system that translates live brain activity from biometric headbands into immersive musical compositions, integrating data from brain and heart activity, motion, and breath to create dynamic, adaptive soundscapes.Designed applications for individual use and group experiences, including "biosensor soundbaths" and "brainwave orchestras," which facilitate synchronized and meditative states through biometric-driven music.Led end-to-end development, including signal processing (FFT and other methods), sonification algorithms, sound design, and real-time audiovisual mapping.Collaborated with various biometric sensor technologies to refine the system’s responsiveness and accuracy.Secured funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Hirshhorn, the Iowa Arts Council, Iowa City Public Arts, and the Iowa Economic Development Authority.Presented this technology in performances, installations, and workshops, merging neuroscience, art, and technology to create transformative experiences.
