Research, creativity, and service form the foundation of my work. I create scientifically grounded immersive experiences through products, installations, and performances, leveraging over 30 years of expertise in computer programming, electronic music production, visual design, and mindfulness practice. I've presented my work at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Hirshhorn, MIT, NYU, Sundance, and CPH:DOX, as well as performed and exhibited in Shanghai, Dubai, Berlin, and across North America. My journey began with building HTML and Flash interfaces, producing award-winning projects for the interactive departments of HBO, MTV, AOL Music, and Condé Nast. Over time, I invented generative artificial intelligence and musical neurofeedback systems. I have collaborated with world-renowned dancers, translating their movements into music, and developed systems that convert electromagnetic atmospheric activity into haptic feedback and created permanent public art installations that generate light compositions based on pedestrian movement, temperature, and tidal patterns.Academically, my graduate thesis at NYU focused on psychoacoustics, where I developed a sound methodology to induce a creative, subconscious "theta" state. I've taught electronic music and experimental music-making methods at NYU Tisch and have guest lectured and mentored at several universities.
