As an Engineer at The National Videogame Foundation I help maintain the Galleries of The National Videogame Arcade. This means repairing anything from furniture to controllers and consoles when they break. On top of this I make new things for the galleries. For example, in May 2016, the Engineering department made a custom controller for a pinball game. This gives a more authentic feel when playing the game.

As a Crew Member I was able to engage with the public showing them the games on show and explaining how to play them. As well as this I kept the gallery I was on clean and tidy so all games were approachable as much as possible.

I worked with a company providing network management, support and general IT support to small companies in the Nottingham area. This allowed me to learn a lot about Microsoft Server 2008, Ubiquiti products, Office 365, Google Admin and improve my knowledge in general networking practices. This also gave a lot of experience in dealing with clients and teaching people who had minimal experience with certain technologies.
