Handcrafted music blog, est. 2005. What started as a passion project and a way for me to build a portfolio of clips back in 2005 turned into managing a group of 100+ writers/photographers and web traffic upwards of 60K visitors a month.

*Strategized and developed successful "Your stories, as they happen" campaign for iPhone launch, which included launch video, app store trailers, and support videos (all under budget) *Wrote copy for all website and product marketing content. *Wrote and maintained weekly email campaigns that consistently generated an above average open rate.*Ran social media accounts and saw an increase in engagement of 15-20%.*Managed partnerships with strategic content creators and helped them build and promote stories on a regular basis.*As a prolific creator on the platform I helped experiment and led creation by example.

*From concept to delivery; helped shape and steer the creative vision for all broadcast commercials and web video projects.*Helped build team from 3 to 8, now 30+.*Provided creative mentorship to producers and editors. *Created successful social video campaign called "Seller Spotlights" for Facebook and Instagram audience.*Managed Vine accounts for Square and Square Cash. Created original content in-house and produced partner content with Vine "celebrities".*Created and directed successful Square Stand launch videos that could be leveraged across different channels: paid, social, and PR, and web marketing.*Creative directed a suite of "innovative brand" support videos that were localized to multiple countries.

*Founding member of Square's internal production team.*Creative directed Square's first ever direct response TV campaign. One of the most successful acquisition campaigns in the company's history.*Developed highly effective video testimonial program that continues to humanize and tell the story of Square's customers.*Directed one-off campaigns to promote individual products and/or events like Valentine's Day (I even wrote the song!)

*Acquired by Square in 2011.*Wrote and directed multiple product marketing videos for Levi's, including Waterless Jeans campaign and Designer Studio series.*Produced and creative directed multiple web videos for Dockers "Wear the Pants" campaign. Directed several web store product demos for Alpha Khakis pants line.*Created marketing content for Kimpton Hotels, HP, Village Voice, and Lucile Packard Foundation.*Fostered and built relationships with clients like Square which led to eventual acquisition.
