Oversee HR function (employee relations, recruitment, etc) for 25 locations in 10 states (WA, AK, OR, CA, ID, HI, UT, MT, IL, & NE) and 1 territory (Guam). I provided HR consulting services for two healthcare organizations.

Human Resource Manager for upscale retirement company based in Seattle. I provided HR support for 7 retirement communities and focused on employee recruitment and retention, employee relations, training and development, and managed the leave of absence and Affirmative Action programs. While at Era Living, I restructured recruitment strategies that resulted in a cost savings of more than $250,000 in 2008. I also redesigned time off accrual method that results in an annual savings of approximately $30,000.

Managed the risk management function for 42 skilled nursing homes, retirement and assisted living facilities. Reduced the frequencey of employee injuries by 15% and dollars incurred by 25%. Ensured compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, NFPA, ANSI and local regulations and standards.

Managed the Human Resource function for two assisted living communities in Bellevue, WA. Supported 140 line staff and 22 management employees in all HR issues. Reduced turnover from 55% to 28% within 6 months of employment.
