I engage alumni from around the world and increase the global footprint of the university. The mission is to build a global network of Pitt graduates and friends. The long term goal is to form a network of Pitt alumni who can help the university in recruiting students, engaging other alumni and locally supporting the University of Pittsburgh’s global vision and strategy. #PittGlobalLead in the creation, management, and evaluation of a comprehensive international and domestic constituent relations program to include all internal and external constituents, such as alumni, faculty, parents, corporations, foundations, volunteers, and friends as applicable.Collaborate with the executive director of international advancement, vice chancellor for global affairs and vice chancellor for alumni relations on University-wide international programs, the Chancellor’s Global Advisory Council, senior administration international travel and strategic international priorities. This includes alumni data projects, pipeline development, EngagePitt projects and the recruitment of alumni for internship and employment opportunities for Pitt students. Management of the assistant director of regional networks. Provide oversight and direction to assistant director of regional networks in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Coach, mentor, and develop staff member, including overseeing new employee on-boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. Set goals and strategies that align with the Pitt Alumni Association (PAA) strategic plan to advance our missions and engagement with regional alumni networks.

Planning committee member for the Annual Pitt Diversity ForumManager of the Chancellor's Global Advisory Council. Chancellor’s Global Advisory Council (CGAC) in support of the University’s global strategy. The group is composed of twenty accomplished alumni from eight countries and multiple sectors of the global economy, the CGAC will advise the chancellor and academic and administrative leaders on research, education and outreach activities.Oversight of Pitt International Alumni Networks. Pitt now has networks representing regions on six of the seven continents. I coordinate all aspects of travel for the Chancellor, Provost and Vice Provost for Global Engagement when traveling outside the U.S. In addition to my role with the alumni, I am part of the team that sets the strategy, goals and outcomes of each meeting for overseas travel. This experience allows me to take part in discussions about university partnerships, employment opportunities for graduates, governmental partnerships and funding opportunities with foundations.Planning board member for International Education Week.Program Manager for the Sheth International Awards. Member of the team for the Pitt to You program. This is a program that takes 12 students and 5 staff members to China (Beijing and Shanghai) to meet incoming international students, host in-country pre-orientation, host alumni/student networking opportunities and peer bonding exercises.

• Administered, promoted and coordinated marketing materials and events for the W.L. Mellon Society, which is the leadership giving society for the Tepper School whose members commit at least $1,000 in annual gifts-participation has increased more than 58 percent, increased from 352 members in FY2008 to 600 members in FY2011• Managed the matching gifts program for the school and coordinate all marketing materials in order to increase the percentage of donors who utilize their company's matching gift program• Managed the endowed funds and current use scholarships by selecting recipients who fit the donor’s criteria and preparing individualized donor packets for each fund and established a best practices guide for incoming staff• Planned and coordinated all chair naming ceremonies, scholarship lunches, and other similar events - this includes catering, invitations, marketing, managing the budget, special arrangements for VIP guests and international guests • Managed the W.L. Mellon Speaker Series which is held seven to nine times per year and brings C-level speakers from Fortune 500 companies to campus for an engagement with 150+ students and one to two VIP events• Managed the production of fundraising publications, including the donor IMPACT magazine, the honor rolls for the alumni magazine, and marketing materials for corporate and privately sponsored events• Wrote all gift acknowledgment letters for the Dean of the Tepper School and the Director of Annual Giving 3,000+ per year• Conducted benchmarking surveys to ensure that the stewardship procedures are in line with peer schools

• Established protocols for researching endowed funds, usage of income, and donors to ensure accurate yearly financial reporting• Aided development officers in the creation of endowment agreements based on the new protocols• Implemented a plan to review and update all archived endowment records and establish a best practices guide for incoming staff• Supervised one temporary staff member and two work study students• Executed new strategies allowing the department to report on 50% more endowed funds than were reported on in 2006/2007

• Aided in the drafting and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan, new criteria for endowment reporting, recognition of donors at events, and recognition of donors in student thank-you notes• Reduced time used for endowment reporting from nine months to six months by implementing new criteria and processes• Drafted reports and stewardship letters for 950 scholarship endowments for the 2005/2006FY and 1000+ for the 2006/2007FY

• Managed the budget and supervised two staff members for the Historical Interpretive Center in Bulltown, West Virginia and created summer programs for tours and activities that related to themes incorporated from the Historical Interpretive Center, the surrounding battlefield, and the Army Corps’ protected houses• Coordinated for the volunteer program and Braxton County Historical Day and The Battle of Bulltown reenactment

• Managed a tutoring project for eight children ages 6-13 and provided individualized plans of study to each parent about the progress of their child • Created a fundraiser for CARE BREAK, an alternative service spring break for students and drafting of a grant to extend the services of The Haven, which provides community services in low income areas of Slippery Rock

• Supervised fourteen employees in opening and closing the store, as well as daily cash transactions• Balanced daily ledgers and made daily deposits, interviewed and trained employees

• Data entry in support of a class action lawsuit and locating the policies using microfilm and database searches • Coding, filing, and organizing 700,000+ claims over the course of the lawsuit
