This morning, I woke up at 5am (thank you Tara Carter) , coming off of about 2 hours of sleep. I was not feeling it at all today AND I knew that it could easily go downhill. I got up, went through a routine, knowing that the gym was waiting for me at 8am. Tired, not feeling good ... there was absolutely no motivation to go. As I spoke about at my last “Get Real” class, motivation can only take you so far which is why you’ll often see sayings or quotes reciting, “Motivation GETS you going, Habit KEEPS you going.” Today the GOOD habit of consistently hitting the gym with my good friend and elite trainer (NASM Master Instructor) Andy Hanley, Owner Hive Performance. He has been helping me achieve tremendous goals AWAY from the office and as you have all heard me say during class ... it’s not about getting better at Real Estate per se, it’s simply about marginal gains, getting just 1% better as a person, each and every day.
