I use data to help solve business problems. I use DevOps concepts to streamline and automate the delivery of data solutions for business problems. As a leader, I enjoy giving my team the freedom to explore and encourage them to stretch themselves and find new ways to solve problem or automate solutions.I have found that more often than not, data that has been transformed will help solve a problem. It is with this in mind, that I use my background in programming and data wrangling to prep and blend various data sources from databases, filesystems, free form text and flat files to provide information and solutions to real business problems.I expect that we are just seeing the beginning of what big data, machine learning and visualization tools can provide to help. I look forward to many more years of problem solving using the latest tools and techniques.
