In 2019 I became the 1st Town Supervisor as an elected official in New York State to achieve the Association of Towns Certified Town Official designation. (see education)In addition to handling daily questions and issues from town residents, the primary function of the Supervisor’s Office is to prepare the Annual Town Budget and maintain the town’s general ledger. The Supervisor’s Office also manages all of the payroll and human resource functions for all town departments.

Councilmembers’ statutory duties are to be performed, almost without exception, by the council as a whole. For example, the council, not individual members, must supervise administrative officers, formulate policies, and exercise town powers.Councilmembers devote their official time to problems of basic policy and act as liaisons between the town and the general public. Councilmembers should be concerned, not only with the conduct of daily affairs, but also with the future development of the town.The most important single responsibility of a council member is participation at council meetings. Each councilmember, including the Supervisor, has full authority to make and second motions, participate in discussions, and vote on every matter before the council.As a councilman, I have complete authority over all administrative affairs in the town. This authority is generally restricted to conducting investigations and establishing policies to be performed by the Supervisor.The major areas of council authority and responsibility are:• Judging the qualification and election of its own members• Setting and interpreting rules governing its own proceedings• Exercising all the powers of towns that the law does not delegate to others• Legislating for the town• Directing the enforcement of town ordinances• Appointing administrative personnel• Transacting town business• Managing the town’s financial operations• Appointing members of the boards• Conducting the town’s intergovernmental affairs• Protecting the welfare of the town and its inhabitants• Providing community leadership• Other specific powers

Knowledgable of residential construction and heavy timber framing, read blueprints, utilize appropriate math skills, proficient with basic hand tools, drills, saws, chisel, procedures, techniques, materials, quality control, cost control, and safety. Worked as part of a team that strives to solve complex engineering problems by thinking out of the proverbial timber frame saltbox. I performed structural analysis [FEA] on timber frame homes to ensure created frames will last for generations as well as manage the production of the timber frame from procurement of materials through raising.Attended Fox Maple School for both Intermediate and Advanced timber framing techniques in addition to Natural Clay Building techniques and theory.

Provide frontline customer support with hardware and software troubleshooting and diagnosis. Also perform Apple sales, support and consulting to business, education and residential customers. These services include desktop computer set-up, maintenance and administration, system and network administration, internet service and hardware set-up and troubleshooting, onsite and in-store training and preventative maintenance.

Managed a full staff of personnel and oversaw all in-store operations to achieve sales, service, organization, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals for the site in compliance with company procedures. I developed and executed short and long term plans to achieve goals in support of the regional strategy. I maintained profitability by meeting sales, payroll, and shrink goals. Assisted to recruit, hire, and develop a diverse and talented team. Analyzed store-level reports and identified new strategies for maximizing results. Took responsibility for the stores profitability and financial budgeting, including labor costs and overall expenses.

I played a primary role in the development, analysis, and execution of budget and staffing recommendations, which were used to allocate current resources and estimate future requirements. Worked hand in hand with production staff to analyze trends and make recommendations for process improvements, including preparing cost justifications for projects. Was responsible for analysis and feedback supporting budgetary and staffing effectiveness, including formulation of business strategies.

Continually monitored the ACD system to evaluate and manage peak call volume periods. Scheduled and deployed representatives to maintain acceptable performance metrics in Customer Service. I was responsible for receiving calls from representatives regarding time off and arrival/departures and modifying the call center schedule to compensate for these events. I was accountable for the maintenance of relevant NMIS/MTM standards for calls answered, abandoned, blockage and wait time and performed analysis to assist in the effective management of the call center work force. Responsibilities also included identifying staffing trends including collecting information relative to promoting or disciplining call center agents. I designed, produced and distributed ACD and performance reports to senior management, upon request, for all business within the ACD system including but not limited to Customer Service, EBS and Medical Services. In addition I supported the ACD Work Force Management functions, IVR and PBX systems across all three divisions of the organization as well as conducted any supervisory training required for end users.
