Security Business Unit - Engineering leader for SRX (Firewall, VPN, IPS, Security Services, Hardware, etc.), Management, and Security Virtualization.

Responsible for a global engineering organization of 180+ people. Security focus areas are: Intrusion Prevention, Web Security, Application Visibility, and Email Security. Group is responsible for advanced research and development into new network and content threats and solutions. Site leader for Cisco's San Bruno campus (400 people).

Took responsibility for a small team of engineers tasked with developing novel security solutions for email. Developed n-tier hosted technologies that combine large number of data sources, including customer appliances, with machine learning and data algorithms to stop the email spam and virus threats. Grew team from 3 to 30 engineers before Cisco acquisition of IronPort.
