Developed a carbon nanotube membrane technology for use in desalination and other filtration applications. First author of the Science cover article (5/19/06) entitled "Fast Mass Transport Through Sub-2nm Carbon Nanotubes", an article that has since been cited >1000 times and has spurred development of the field of experimental nanotube fluidics.
