Develop projects with lead architect working in Revit through all phases of projects. Coordinate multiple disciplines, tender projects, on site reviews, Ontario Building Code and ASHRAE 90.1 review for project compliance. Develop in house company BIM standards and create marketing materials.

Project Coordinator on a 3 million dollar institutional project consisting of a renovation and large addition to an existing church. Project was completed from design through to fully coordinated construction drawings using Revit BIM software and local and regional consultants.Sustainable features of this project included grass & gravel grid parking systems, radiant floor slab heated by a hydronic heat pump, 45,000 gallon tank for rain water collection, natural ventilation, drought tolerant landscaping and vegetated swale.

Senior Architectural Technologist role includes being the Team Leader on several mid-large size projects involving:• Coordination of staff to produce drawings & specifications from design through construction.• Consultant coordination and client liaison.• Researching all codes required to facilitate local authority approval (Planning, Fire Service, and Health Department).Project work also includes numerous new single family and small apartment structures and renovations. Larger projects include: • Elbow Beach Properties – Fritholme Gardens: 60 townhouse & villa units with a mix of 1, 2 & 3 beds, plus community center. Spread out over 4 phases. Phases 1 and 2 complete with 3 & 4 underway. Project size: approx. 60 million USD.• 6 Dundonald St. Condominiums. 52 units in downtown Hamilton featuring contemporary design and European fixtures, finishes and appliances. Mix of unit sizes from 600 sq. ft. to 1,700 sq. ft. Completed in 2007. Project size: approx. 50 million USD.• Elbow Beach Hotel. Design Development drawings for this proposed new 8 storey, five star facility to be operated by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Included coordination of multiple overseas consultants via on line collaboration tools and meetings overseas. Project size: approx 250 million USD. Project in progress.CAD Manager role includes:• Budget for and provide leadership and vision on planning purchase of all hardware and software through to installation and configuration. • Maintain server including security, email and backups on a daily basis & direct Network Consultant as required. • Trouble shoot pc problems, providing support for plotting and electronic file submission• Oversee web development and keep website up to date.• Maintain electronic documentation for deployment of CAD & office standards.• Develop, implement and enforce project standards.

• Completed architectural and structural drawings using 3d modeling, rendering, animations and sun studies on projects including: Hamilton Bus Terminal and Tyne’s Bay Reverse Osmosis Plant.• Created and maintained AutoCAD procedures, detail libraries, standards, custom menus, toolbars and templates for 7 person department using web pages. Created procedure for naming, filing and storing all hard copied and electronic files within engineering section. Assisted in Ministry CAD Committee creation and chaired ongoing activities.• Completed all design calculations and construction drawings for the 175 square meter Contaminated Waste Storage Building in Dockyard, including: masonry walls, masonry columns, roof slab, footings, lintels and steel beams.
