Illumination Choir is an ensemble comprised of auditioned vocalists, ages 15 to 21, who collaborate with other artists from the community in presenting quality concerts and experiences that inspire, elevate, and illuminate.It is our mission to be a community partner, not for the sake of the arts, but for the enrichment of the lives within our community. We desire to identify worthy community causes and, through a collaboration of artists, business leaders, teachers, parents, and performances, meet an immediate need. Our strategy is to identify, develop, utilize, and leverage talented individuals with the intent of presenting excellent compelling experiences that inspire, elevate, and illuminate.We intentionally collaborate with other local artists and leaders from various disciplines within the community in presenting quality concerts and experiences that inspire, elevate and illuminate, and that produce measurable good in our community.

Plan, coordinate, and produce several performance events and related projects

Teach music theory, vocal development, and choral musicianship to 7th through 12th grade. Responsible for producing small to large special events and preparing various performance ensembles for competition.

Built and maintained a collaborative team of qualified artistic leaders from a wide spectrum of disciplines to plan and produce services, events, and shows.

Worked with the Senior Pastor to change the congregational culture in regard to service size and style. Planned and presented weekly worship services and annual events. Taught music courses to a wide range of ages.

Taught music to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th.Created lesson plans, produced seasonal shows, and developed an after-school choral program for interested 5th grade students.
