I have been fortunate to manage an excellent team of programmers, infrastructure support, and DBAs who enabled me to be a high producing working manager. I have directly reported to several very different CEOs who have all supported, mentored and trusted me, influencing me to be the leader I am today.  • Created and lead development of the local SPA intranet which became the primary resource     for all processes which the company attributes its success and considers their secret weapon.    Sample systems: IT ticket management, quote creation and management, buy report     replenishment model, internal blog, aggregated product data.  • Owner of Sage 500 ERP to train users on systems, track down issues, recode and customized    the interfaces and sql procs and saved tens of thousands on support and customizations.  • Created the extranet portal where customers could manage their orders, RMAs and data feeds,     get customer specific pricing to create quotes and orders, chat with reps.  • Implemented SalesForce after gathering requirements from our Sales and Purchasing team     members, meeting with and reviewing other alternatives, and ensuring pertinent data be     available locally off the cloud.   • Created and managed all OLAP cubes, data and usage security as well as having trained users     on ProClarity and analysis services; SSRS and web based reporting also usually fell under me.  • Managed various audits for banks, security practices, development, Microsoft licensing, etc.  • Handled various management duties including: employee reviews, interviewing and hiring     decisions, budgeting, inter-personnel conflict management, objective setting, and vendor     relationship management.

A growing financial company needed someone to take over and revamp the IS department, restructure their database, and prepare for a larger user base and out of office employees.  • Constructed an intranet to manage and connect all positions within the company as well as     enabling expansion in other markets with agents reporting in via this online system.  • Administered the IS department by organizing and structuring projects, managing team     members time, reviewing and upholding coding standards and preserving the IS departments     integrity.  • Maintained the office servers consisting of a primary domain controller, outbound dialer, IIS web     server, exchange server, two SQL 2000 database servers, and the office phone system servers.  • Designed the SQL database architecture, resolved database performance issues, generated and     tested triggers and procedures to enforce data integrity and increase performance, and     excavated data for reports.  • Refurbished existing Access front end programs and/or redesigned them in visual basic for ease     of use and increased performance in numerous ways such as switching from DAO to ADO,     forced data-integrity checks and using web pages to tie into the company’s online system.  • Upgraded and redesigned servers: Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003, the PDC was recreated for     active directory connections and fixes, and brought in PHP and outlook web access to the web server.  • Tackled general positional related tasks including the assembly of workstation computers and     new servers, troubleshooting computer related problems, maintaining printers and fax machines, backing up our servers, training computer users, etc.

Brought on to systemize and direct the FAN/USA division. Responsibilities grew to implement     and administer many technical resources.  • Developed a FAN/USA division website for clients to find and download appraisals with PHP,    JavaScript, and MySQL reducing the amount of time it took for both the clients to receive     appraisals and the appraisers to turn in completed work.  • Created a MS Access front end program to the MySQL database for managing appraisers,     appraisals, and payments resulting in more efficient reporting and drastically reducing the     amount of time required for data entry, reporting, and over-all managing the company.  • Installed a MS Exchange 2000 server to join the network and manage email.  • Supplied technical support and training for local users.
