Responsible for sales of Dell Technologies’ Data Centre Solutions portfolio in Atlantic Canada for Tier 1 Public Sector & Commercial customers. Storage, Servers, AI, Multi-Cloud, Cyber/Data Protection, Networking and Services.

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) is the Crown corporation which controls sales of alcoholic beverages and recreational cannabis in Nova Scotia. I was responsible for the planning, direction and the execution of our internal teams and managed services partners that support the NSLC’s data centre’s, IT infrastructure, cyber security, SAP ERP, enterprise applications, and change controls. Manage a multi million dollar annual operating budget, in addition to IT infrastructure capital projects. Direct oversight over our technology road map, to ensure we are leveraging new technologies, as well as maximizing the investment on the ones we have, in order to support the business’ objectives. Develop and implement IT strategies in support of corporate business goals and develop business cases for IT investment. Establish appropriate outsourcing relationships to augment NSLC’s internal core competencies. Ensure the optimization of the NSLC’s investment in technology.

Sierra Systems was acquired by NTT DATA Services in 2018. Founded in 1966, Sierra Systems provided a full suite of advisory, systems development and integration, and application managed services, with strong support for Microsoft and Oracle software solutions. I worked for a number of private and public sector clients in Canada and the United States, in the areas of: business analysis, change management, proposal development, team leadership, training, and quality assurance testing. As a Business Analyst, I conducted needs assessments with clients to identify business technology requirements and develop detailed business and technical specifications, which included costs estimates. I developed and delivered presentations to clients using my strong communication skills. I facilitated, recorded, and analyzed workshop and interview sessions. I also conduct business process engineering activities, supported the development of project strategies and plans, and provided input into planning processes. Change Management activities included helping system users to adopt the new system and use it productively and ensuring that adequate documentation and support was available to the users. Project planning included the development of strategies and detailed plans for Change Management, Communications, Project Management, Testing and Training Implementation activities. I also provided analysis and support in the updating of project plans, project definitions, issue and risk mitigation definition, and workshop facilitation.

The Colchester East Hants Health Authority, along with 8 other district health authorities, amalgamated on April 1, 2015, to form the The Nova Scotia Health Authority. I was a Project Lead for assigned technical projects, ensuring all technical issues and tasks were identified, documented, and carried out properly. I was responsible for documenting all work, system upgrades, project activity, project reports, etc. according to department policies and procedures. Provided Network, Server and Desktop Administration for the Health Authority. I acquired a strong knowledge of hospital and department operating policies and procedures. Participated in the planning and developing of security policies, backup and recovery procedures, and Disaster Recovery Plans. I was a senior member of a technical planning and change management team that investigated new and improved technical approaches, equipment, methods, and policies.
