Founded Dais and built it up to a significant player in the insurance technology space.Acquired by Origami Risk in 2023.

Joined Brad as the founding CTO at inception. Recruited the technical leadership team, personally recruited the first several sprint teams, built out security, devops, IT, and engineering, and designed the organization and culture to scale. Designed the architecture for the Uptake platform as well as the MVP and personally led its build-out.Grew to over 400 people in under a year and a half, winning Forbes' "Hottest Startup of 2015" and hitting a billion dollar valuation in 15 months.

Wrote on big data and data science and advised General Mills, eBay, Pitney Bowes, and others on big data architecture, predictive analytics, and platform strategy.

Led the integration of Latigent's product portfolio with Cisco, leading the team of engineers assigned to the product. Worked with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments and optimal use of the Latigent technology in the field, and trained the customer advocacy organization in the use of the products.As a Technical Leader (the equivalent of an architect), provided technical leadership and architectural guidance. Workd extensively with the CTO office to investigate and develop emerging technologies and craft strategies to integrate them into the Cisco portfolio. Was part of the architectural team that investigated Big Data and NoSQL technology, testing and vetting platforms to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each. Protoyped new projects and worked with product owners to determine forward product direction, and mentored the engineering organization in the use of newer technologies and how to integrate them. Sat on the patent committee, vetting patent ideas to determine viability and patentability before sending to the legal organization.

Responsible for product development as well as outreach to the technical community and driving technical sales efforts and online presence.Successfully executed exit strategy culminating in acquisition by Cisco Systems.

Led Information Technology division of this global call center outsourcer. Was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, team building, technology platform direction, and directing strategic technology projects. Designed and led development of a custom software platform that integrated CRM, order tracking, payment processing, and direct marketing, rolled out and used in six call centers worldwide (and growing) by thousands of telephone agents. Directed and directly supervised global VOIP delpoyment projects and integrated new network and voice segments into existing legacy infrastructures.

Was responsible for designing and leading implementation of customized call center platform for CRM and fulfillment operations, and developed systems to integrate the VOIP platform with CRM systems and provide a consolidated reporting platform.
