Founder and Board Member of ShiftWise, Inc.According to the SIA - As of September 2015, VMS managed hospital systems now make account for 68% of the healthcare staffing market. When I came up with the idea for ShiftWise (healthcare VMS solution), I was hoping a few local Oregon hospitals would use it. Turns out it completely disrupted the healthcare staffing industry and became the leading provider of web based software applications for staffing and vendor management services in the industry. So, that was pretty cool.As the founder I helped secure initial capital investments, provided business planning, ongoing new business development and strategic direction. I initially lead and created all company sales, product positioning, pricing and marketing plans that established ShiftWise as the market leader for VMS in the healthcare staffing industry.I designed and managed the user experience (UX/UI) and feature development process for all ShiftWise web applications from concept to v8.2. I defined the ShiftWise brand, design, user experience and all online SEO/SEM/PPC/SMM marketing campaigns. I managed both on-site and remote web application design and analyst teams in an agile, rapid development environment.And I made people care about it all.

Evaluated effectiveness of agency policies and developed proposals for revisions with senior level staff. Met regularly with veterans to address their disability and political concerns.
