Since 2013, I've been focused on a radical vision to create secure, scalable, and predictable pipelines for Salesforce product development and delivery to bring concepts such as GitOps and Infrastructure as Code to Salesforce.I created Salesforce.org's ISV-style development and release process for Nonprofit Cloud and Education Cloud. In my 8 years building and leading Salesforce.org's Release Engineering team, I led the creation of the open source CumulusCI Suite to share our solutions to common challenges of ISV-style development with the community.In May 2022 I left Salesforce to found MuseLab, a partner focused on making implementation of CumulusCI Suite easier and more accessible to Salesforce partners and customers.I've had the amazing opportunity to work on and with some of the best software teams filled with passionate, compassionate, and brilliant people. It's taught me a lot about building trust based team cultures. I'm an advocate for embracing and encouraging debate as a way of improving ideas. The best leaders I've known share the common trait of actively seeking to have their minds changed which I aspire to do myself.I've been doing technology work for over 25 years ranging from sysadmin, systems engineering, web development, voter file analysis, nonprofit technology, and Salesforce product development.
