Key Responsibilities:-Overseeing supply chain planning for all Tetra Pak Oceania customers and Oceania products-Producing 12-month and 24-month rolling period forecasts for finished goods -Proactively tracking sales vs forecast to identify and taking corrective action for any under forecasting or over forecasting-Maintaining accurate and up-to-date master data in SAP -Creating and presenting monthly reports to management team to support commercial decision-making-Liaising with sales and suppliers to ensure efficiency and cost targets are met -Liaising with logistics to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full -Coordinating monthly meetings with customers to discuss forecasting, areas of improvement to supply chain, issues in production plans, DIFOT, and upcoming promotions or opportunities-Monitoring team performance to ensure KPIs are met-Building and maintaining productive working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders, including MD for Oceania forecasting, key account directors, account managers, sales teams and factory production planners locally and globally, and external stakeholders such as customer production planners and procurement managers Significant Achievements:-Prior to my employment, forecast accuracy was less than 50%; by working more closely with customers and sales teams and improving SAP master data input, maintenance and cleansing, forecasting accuracy is now above 70–75%.-Successfully implemented new weekly open order reporting to customer head office to give them full visibility of the status of orders and deliveries, which has reduced the volume of customer enquiries and measurably improved customer satisfaction around the entire supply chain.
