I led the teams through a quarter packed with feature work with an eye towards prioritizing engineers’ growth, incremental delivery of value while keeping high standards of testing by pushing engineers to start testing early in the implementation cycle. I led multiple cross-team initiatives, coordinating with the pertinent folks from multiple teams, to deliver solutions to, sometimes, very complex problems as well as new features and functionality.I conducted weekly 1:1s with the team, offered technical and soft skill mentorship and provided constructive feedback during our mid-year feedback cycle.I helped plan two quarters worth of work striving to properly serialize the work so that the team doesn’t get overloaded while advocating for addressing crucial areas of tech debt by measuring customer impact via our escalation ticket count and support engineering load.
