CurrentHead of IT Services at a successful Multi-Academy Trust across Coventry and Warwickshire, supporting more than 7000 students, 700 staff and members of the public users on the trusts network. A member of the SLT and leader of IT network managers and dedicated teams of IT Technicians, playing a key role supporting multiple education establishments. Responsible for driving the on-going improvements and daily operations of the trusts network infrastructure. Ensuring robust business continuity in relation to Finance, MIS, DR planning and remote technologies. Reporting, leading and directing all aspects of small and large project solutions from conception to final implementation in combination with external contractors and in house technicians. Responsible for continued monitoring of long term performance and ensuring the trusts objectives are reached.Responsible for coordinating projects simultaneously and directing in-house technical staff to meet project deadlines and goals. Providing in-house Level III support to technical staff and end-users, responsible for conducting appraisals, recognising and organising training requirements of trust members delivering training on external corporate event days inspiring staff confidence. A key leadership member working closely with the Executive Headteacher and Board of Directors, attending ICT management group meetings, shaping and formulating a three to five-year strategic vision with a supporting plan of action across all sites.Introducing the latest digital technologies to bring valued benefits to end-users. Accountable for organising multiple budgets, ring fencing funds and ensuring value for money is always obtained. Ensuring compliance regarding GDPR practice and all data protection aspects working with DPO officers. I was nominated by the trusts colleagues and won the 'Staff Excellence' award in 2016 for the most supportive staff member at a formal event in attendance with the Lord Mayor of Coventry.
