In collaboration with my Senior Director, the Epilepsy Foundation afforded me an opportunity to mature as a high-capacity fundraiser. With clear goals and objectives, we aggressively launched a successful nation-wide major gifts initiative. This initiative allowed me the opportunity to solicit five and six-figure contributions and pledges and to dramatically increase the level of engagement with many of the organizations most committed benefactors.

As Director of Development, I was initially challenged with the completion of a previously stalled capital campaign. Subsequently, I drafted a comprehensive development plan, launched an engagement strategy aimed at dramatically increasing camper registrations among member churches, and authored stewardship initiatives for affiliated national conference.

As the Director of Development, I was given the opportunity to familiarize myself with all aspects of professional fundraising. In addition to organizing high-profile, record-breaking special events and coordinating the organization's first annual auction, I regularly solicited five and six-figure contributions. Joy Ranch offered me an excellent environment in which to begin a rewarding fundraising career.
