I participated in various constructive discussions surrounding the logic of navigation, site design, user interface, and user experience.As the website was developing, I oversaw gathering digital media assets with our region’s partners and businesses and used logic to match assets to respective pages and topics. This includes taking the lead role in directing our video agency to piece together the videos on each respective sector page.I was part of a team of two that planned, managed, and ran the social media plan for Edmonton Global’s signature event, forward/slash. With the organization’s first-ever Instagram account, we grew an organic following of over 100 individuals on Instagram and over 300 individuals on LinkedIn in our first two months of forward/slash’s social media launch.During tradeshows and conferences, I coordinated parts of the integrated marketing strategy with our external marketing agency on booth designs and printed assets while ensuring digital advertisements had consistent messaging aligned with physical handouts and displays.
