Jason has a keen mind for detail and isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions in pursuit of understanding his clients’ financial situations, goals and aspirations. With more than 25 years of experience he has deep knowledge of market cycles, having seen some of the best and worst that the stock market has had to offer during his lengthy career as an advisor. He wants his clients to be able to spend time on what is most important to them, and not to have to worry about what they could or should have done differently.Jason founded Boone Macaluso Group of Raymond James with his partner, Andy, after realizing that the “be everything to everybody” model employed by some advisors was a disservice to clients. They aim to treat all clients with the same level of care and choose to work with those who they consider to be capable of managing their finances on their own, but savvy enough to seek help so that they have time to live their lives to the fullest.Prior to joining Raymond James, Jason held a variety of positions in financial services including those at Wells Fargo, Prudential Securities, Smith Barney and UBS. A graduate of the Providence College, he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.On a day-to-day basis, Jason gains deep understanding of his clients’ goals and then implements strategies tailored toward them. If their long-term goals have short term needs that have to be addressed, he aims to always be available to make that happen. He also spends time working with his clients’ other trusted professionals, such as their attorney, CPA or business manager, to make sure that everyone has the same understanding of what is going on with all areas their financial situation, and keeping them up to date on what is happening.Outside of the office, Jason has spent the last 20 years competing in countless triathlons, marathons and ultra-trail runs. After turning 50, his mantra is: "if I don't feel better the next day, I'm not doing it"...which has led him to a spiritual journey of yoga and meditation. 30 years after graduation, Jason remains very active in the Friar Alumni network, having served on the Providence College School of Business Advisory Council, and still continues to mentor students and young alumni on their career paths upon graduation.A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Jason resides in Killingworth with his wife, Jennifer, daughter, Olivia and their dog, Amy.
