  • Triton Science And Technology
    Co-Founder & Systems Engineer
Triton Science And Technology Oct 2008 - Dec 2011
A colleague and I co-founded this limited liability company to facilitate the sale of a specialized circuit that we designed, built, and tested when we were in graduate school. The circuit was unlike anything that was available on the market and was capable of measuring a very small amount of current traveling through high voltage cable (while safely outputting a proportional signal to a DAQ system). Our endeavor led to the successful sale of the electronic device to industry and academic customers. We dissolved the company after finishing our graduate work to focus on our careers.Starting a limited liability company, designing/refining our circuitry, packaging a product, and interacting with customers was a priceless experience that left me with an appreciation for circuit design, integrated circuit selection, soldering techniques, system integration, and all of the complexities coupled with launching and running a small business.
