Management of the Information Technology division with an annual budget of $18M. Responsible for hiring and management of all 52 Information Technology FTE’s. Aging technology and negative end-user perception of IT required an immediate refresh of the department to become a ‘World-Class’ organization. Designed and implemented the new Enterprise Ticketing System along with customer engagement programs, proactive support and change management procedures along with new Service Level Agreements for accountability to our internal customers. Eliminated internal ‘silos’ by changing the culture within, leading to more cross-functional teams and activities, increasing resource availability department-wide. Continued end-user engagement and training programs promoted positive acceptance for city-wide technology initiatives. Successfully managed several previous ‘untouchable’ projects including the Lotus Notes Mail migration, Public Record Request portal, Kronos upgrades and the WPB.org Website Host migration.

Designed and managed corporate data center / IT infrastructure that provided the information platform for company growth. Implemented security processes and procedures to allow for PCI compliance and outside vendor access. Created High Availability/Disaster Recovery procedures for all critical systems including partnerships with CAT5 secure hosting sites and call centers.

Led corporate IT initiatives; provided strategic planning and project management; developed business application infrastructure; managed ERP implementations and software development to provide a scalable platform for growth. Directed all aspects of system administration, network optimization, resource allocation, materials acquisition and SLA’s.
