About Jason Enger
I think of myself as the type of person who knows a little bit about a lot of stuff. You can generally throw me in any situation and I will be able to hang with the best of 'em. On any given weekend, you can find me casting a spinner bait from my kayak along a dam, headed to a punk show to watch from the back of the venue (I’m over 40...), chillin’ on my patio watching the Cowboys game and my smoker thermometer simultaneously, practicing my burgeoning golf skills at the range, or just watching a Coen Brothers movie for the millionth time. Of course as I get older, my hobbies get more expensive and I want better toys to do those hobbies, so I need a solid source of income. Fortunately, I have been able to grow my technological and business acumen over the course of two decades working for the leading network provider in the world. Verizon has provided me a phenomenal career in sales, starting off working my way through college selling in a retail store, graduating to retail management, and then moving into B2B sales. I started in B2B selling to SMB customers, working a geographic territory. I then moved to a Mid Market account module selling to mid sized companies in DFW and supporting our national accounts team on some of the largest customers in the enterprise space. I’m currently a Client Partner, working in Global Enterprise with customers in our investment segment. Over the years, I have built many lasting relationships with colleagues and customers, many of whom I now consider great friends. I'd like to think of that ability to build genuine relationships as the trait that has most contributed to what I would undoubtedly consider professional success. When we build real relationships with real people, and represent an organization with a superior product and service, it becomes easy to negotiate win/win outcomes and have impactful conversations.In short, if you want to book a tee-time and don't mind playing with a bit of a potty mouth, you bring the golf tips and I'll bring the cigars.The Dude abides...All opinions are my own
