I worked for a small (5 person) consulting company to develop a VB .NET application that turned a lengthy manual process of estimating commercial roofing jobs into a quick and efficient process. I was responsible for developing different pieces of the software and for building the reporting functionality that generated the final estimate for a job along with an order sheet that could be directly submitted to the roofing company to get the necessary building materials for that job.
