I am a software developer passionate about building IT systems that are simple to use and that make people's lives better. I am a huge proponent of moving fast with quality through agile project methodology and automating all the things to achieve continuous deployment. I also strive to choose the right technology for the job instead of choosing something just because I am comfortable with it.I have built a reputation as an expert in Java, Spring, Maven, Jenkins, Perl, Bash scripting, RESTful architectures, and automated software deployment. I am also known for having a good understanding of Javascript, Node.js, and Linux. In my free time I enjoy running and biking. I also use the Arduino platform to pretend to be an electrical engineer. Additionally, I research new technologies in order to understand, experiment, and continually learn so my toolbox is always growing.Check out my github at https://github.com/jasonmfehr
