Post SBC / AT&T merger, I served as the single point of contact for marketing activities within all medium, government, education, and medical business sales segments for the State of Texas. My ultimate goal was to help the sales teams meet key revenue growth and volume objectives. Responsibilities included:• Provided support and input on integrated customer communication campaigns.• Enabled each segment to meet/exceed their customer satisfaction targets by identifying and driving the customer experience improvements with the greatest impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty.• Identified and drove strategies to “own the customer” by growing and/or “bending the trend” across multiple product segments. • Led the quarterly planning process for 2006 and 1Q2007 by developing a comprehensive plan by region and segment which incorporated changes in the marketplace, new product roll outs and changes in pricing.

I held a number of different positions wile with SBC, highlights include:- I oversaw the development of quarterly plans and managed lifecycles and promotions for a variety of products and services. - I led a team that developed packaged solutions in partnership with Cisco systems. These efforts booked more than $13 million in revenue within the first three months of the release date. - I spearheaded a major corporate training initiative for sales organizations during a massive product restructuring. This effort incorporated web-based and leader-led training courses to better equip the sales staff to sell complete solutions versus individual products. - I also oversaw product core teams during the development of a lower-cost alternative to meet the demands of smaller and medium-sized businesses. These solutions allowed the sales teams to offer value-added service while permitting ample time to work with other customers and meet business needs.

- I developed and implemented joint marketing plans between SBC Internet Services and SBC Communications. - I also developed and implemented a joint marketing program between SBC Internet Services and Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages. - I provided support for systems development and testing, incentives program design, training development and delivery as well as methods and procedures. - I worked in conjunction with the SBC Internet Services Web Development department to design and maintain various segments of their internal sales web site. - I was a member of the project team responsible for the initial development and rollout of DSL services in the five state SBC Southwest territory.

Account Manager:- I managed a Small Business Accounts (SBA) account module, marketing telecommunications and data networking solutions to customers in this territory. - Also worked to improve Customer Satisfaction results within this module, by attending to any special needs / requests from customers as they arose.Regional Sales Rep:- I was a sales specialist responsible for selling Key Systems (telephone systems) to small business in the Dallas / Fort Worth and East Texas territories. - Day to day role was a combination of cold calling to business in the area, as well as establishing relationships with various Southwestern Bell account managers and helping to meet the needs of their customer base. - General responsibilities included customer needs analysis, system design, sales and contract negotiations, financing term negotiations and system implementation oversight.
