Senior advisor supporting the campaigning work of over 60 environmental, grassroots community groups, and First Nations on a large scale international climate change campaign. Our most prominent campaigns were to oppose pipelines that would facilitate the growth of Canada's dirty tar sands.

This was a true start-up - our HQ for the first summer was my partner Paul's tiny west end apartment, and we didn't pay ourselves a nickel for the first 6 months. I learned a lot here but the company wasn't ever going to go anywhere so I sold my shares to one of the partners in 1997 and moved on. I was drawn to IT as it was changing organizations but the bigger change coming on the web was calling!
