Opus is my long-running blog where I write about music, movies, anime, pop culture, religion, technology, and anything else that piques my curiosity. It also serves as a place for me to continually hone my web development skills, as I consistently try out new designs, new coding techniques and practices, and even new content management approaches.

As a senior web developer, I focus on building websites and web applications that are both aesthetically pleasing and incredibly functional and usable for both our clients. This includes spearheading all UI/UX design for our proprietary web application (e.g., content management, order management, donation management) as well as working with developers to ensure that those designs are tested and implemented correctly.

Christ and Pop Culture is devoted to providing the Church with wise, thoughtful commentary on various pop culture trends, be it in TV, movies, music, video games, technology, or politics (to name a few topics). Our goal is to help our fellow Christians think more deeply and graciously about the surrounding culture. I primarily helped UNL faculty and staff integrate new media technology (e.g., websites, CD-ROMs, multimedia classrooms) into their curriculum. This primarily involved website development, but additional duties included CD-ROM development and maintaining UNL's multimedia classrooms.

I reshelved books that had been returned to Love Library.
