About Jason Wright
I am the editor and founder of Oddball Magazine. I provide a platform for writers and artists to speak their minds in a public forum. I also am the President and founder of the oddball foundation (lowercase on purpose). The oddball foundation was founded during COVID 19, to respond to the mental health crisis, as well as embracing my community built from oddball magazine, to use our creative platform to advocate for mental health education, social justice, and contribute to healing our environment.I maintain a heavy web presence with Oddball Magazine, and try to reach as many people as possible. It is my belief that writing and art are the two most therapeutic forms of true artistic expression. I like to gear the magazine towards people with internal struggle. This magazine is geared towards people who overcome adversity. Oddball has not only seasoned writers, but is always looking for fresh new writers Some writers (myself included), publish on a regular basis, and have weekly columns at the magazine. What once was a small blog, and before that a 'zine has become a uniter for writers all over the world. I have developed friendships and partnerships through working with notable contributors and companies who support the magazine. Because in truth everyone has a story to share-- Mine I share with thousands of people and so do the writers and artists who contribute to Oddball Magazine. We all just want to be heard.
