Plan,organize and administer the preventative maintenance program byassigning tasks and ensuring timely completion . - Analyse and administer utility consumption by ensuring timelyallocation of costs, monitoring tenant & building systemsconsumption, investigating discrepancies and implementingsustainable operating practices. - Participate actively in the Fire Safety Plan and emergency responseby ensuring the operation and maintenance of the fire and lifesafety systems, including emergency power systems in accordancewith applicable codes. - Manage staff within area of responsibility by fostering andmaintaining positive labour relations, providing regular feedback andassisting with training needs.

Hillcrest Mall, Richmond Hill

Responsible for the on-going maintenance of the electrical and mechanical components as well as all physical aspects of Hillcrest Mall. Responsibilities:-Manage operating costs and assist in the development of the annual operating budget, reviewing outside contracts for satisfactory performance and supplier invoices for accuracy.- Manage utility consumption by ensuring timely allocation of costs, monitoring tenant & building systems consumption, investigating discrepancies and implementing sustainable operating practices.-Ensure all HVAC equipment operates at maximum efficiency by implementing clear and concise operating procedures.- Manage the upkeep and improvement of the property’s physical aspect and curb appeal by overseeing the operations related to parking lots, paving, landscaping, snow removal, high dusting/cleaning Assist Tenant Co-ordination with respect to Landlord and Tenant Work, including the review and approval of electrical and mechanical services. - Participate actively in the Fire Safety Plan and emergency response by ensuring the operation and maintenance of the fire and life safety systems, including emergency power systems in accordance with applicable codes. Also participate in the property’s health & safety program, performing site inspections, recommending improvements and following-up on corrective measures.-Develop and execute on annual recoverable/non-recoverable capital plans and other major projects for the property.-Manage the Shopping Centre’s waste/recycling program as well as the property sustainability programs to ensure operating efficiencies are implemented and maintained.-Working closely and coordinating with HO development team & contractors on the ongoing & planning of projects at the site.
