I've been responsible for the technical positioning and development of Symantec's security portfolio within the Canadian Communications Service Providers market for both internal enterprise consumption as well as go to market joint revenue streams. Its required the routine application of my expertise in business development, solution architecture and service delivery activities relating to disciplines such as: Data Loss Prevention, Enterprise Mobility Management, Endpoint Protection, Data Center Security, Advanced Network Threat Protection (ATP), Email and Web Security as well as Mobile Network Security. Working with the Canadian Service Providers has allowed for such broad exposure to my personal interests of telecommunications and the security field that I'm grateful for my time at Symantec. Its been fantastic and after 16 years working as a technical solutions architect with global Network Equipment Providers as my customer base I've had the pleasure to build new relationships with senior level Service Provider contributors from CISO and Chief Architect levels to VPs of customer facing services with the likes of Bell Canada, TELUS and Rogers. Truly a pleasure.

By combining Sun Microsystems' software and hardware portfolio with it's 3rd party integration capabilities we established network management system and network element design wins within Nortel Networks' products that ended up generating Sun Microsystems revenue in the 100s of $ millions. It was quite a ride. I worked with a team for years that I miss to this day and the experience I gained from the generosity and quality of the individuals in my customer base was truly amazing. I never stopped learning.
