Experienced frontend engineer with a background as an individual contributor, lead engineer, engineering manager, consultant, teacher, and mentor. I'm passionate about JavaScript, modern web technologies, open-source software, building products, and teaching others.I now work as a freelance web developer, specializing in building modern web applications. Previously, I was a software engineer at Microsoft, where I worked on open-source software in Azure Identity, namely on the Microsoft Authentication Libraries for JavaScript. I have also been a guest lecturer at the University of Washington, where I taught web development in the Informatics program. Outside of work, I’m an avid golfer, photographer, and hockey player.
