BOCS website has four external providers, whom my role is to coordinate to ensure they do not blame each other for problems but correct the issues as they arise. Investigate and resolve website problems for BOCS Ticketing website. The site is unable to handle even the slightest load. (For a ticketing site)So far I have quadrupled the throughput and the site currently can take over 1000 ticket purchases every 15 minutes from start to completion of transaction. The site can now handle over 10000 concurrent connections and process at least 80 concurrent transactions.I believe I can still manage to double the current volumes within the next month.Analyst – BOCS required an application to send out newsletters to their existing patrons, so my role involved collection and reporting of user requirements, then finding a number of suitable applications that may satisfy the requirements, prepare comparison matrixes, weight requirements and produce recommendation reports, including gap analysis. The chosen product, once implemented has enabled BOCS to send out newsletters to existing clients quickly and easily. The last mail out was sent to over 47000 patrons, with only 235 opt outs and approximately 1500 bounces. I have written scripts and templates to allow for dynamic mail outs by staff with no programming experience and configured the application to process subscriptions, unsubscriptions and failed deliveries.
